Which brings me to my next point… I hate to break it to everyone, but yes, it is his fault that he is THAT fat. I used to be pretty darn fat myself, but I was nowhere near this guy’s size and I was disgusted with myself. So disgusted that I did something really drastic…. I ate less and exercised more and dropped a lot of weight. I know. What a shocker! And admittedly, I still have more to go, but before I lost what I did, I had my share of embarrassing moments like this (well, not like this, but you know what I mean). But instead of whining about having a disease, I did something about it.
And before somebody brings up an actual physical health problem, I’ll point out that that’s still not the same. My ex-mother-in-law is diabetic. because of that she will most likely always be overweight. But when she sticks to her diet and eats what she’s supposed to eat, she can control it before it gets too out of hand. When she lets it go and eats whatever she wants, she puts on more. And that goes back to what I was saying before. Some people can’t help it that they’re overweight, but there is no reason that you can’t control HOW overweight you are.
And to beerrunner… actually, there probably is a lot of diet soda in the cooler since people think that crap helps you lose weight, but it screws up your metabolism to the point where you gain weight by drinking it even though there’s no calories in it. And what makes it worse is because it has the “diet” label on it, people think they can drink as much of it as they want and it has no ill effects. At least most people who drink sugar sodas know that they should limit themselves. Hmmmm….. gives you cancer, causes you to gain weight and tastes like crap…. yup diet soda is reeeeal healthy.

Being fat is not the same as your skin color, or religion. It’s a problem for the health care, food distribution and society. Being fat is like smoking crack or being an alcoholic. Most fat people are addicted to food and are using it to mask some other problem. They would rather sit on their asses eatin food than walk some were or do something active.

@michele, I used to be a very large girl, now I am 5*9 and weigh 134, I do not feel sorry for fat ppl who don’t really try, he shouldve known better to sit in such a small chair being such a big guy, sometimes you are just asking to be made fun of.
Actually, there are two diseases that I can think of apart from diabetes that could make someone this large. The first one is Prader-Willy syndrome and it causes people to not feel full…EVER and they will eat anything to satisfy their hunger. The second is pica in which people eat non food items because of urges to eat those things.
That being said, I do think it is funny that probably the two smallest women on the beach were tasked with helping him up.
My mom has a friend who was way over 400 pounds. She went to doctor after doctor. They all said she was just lazy and an over eater. Finally one checked her out fully and found out she had a TUMOR WRAPPED AROUND HER THYROID. Even if she had been stranded ala Tom Hanks in Castaway she STILL would’ve remained over 400 pounds.
The tumor couldn’t even be entirely removed. So while she’s lost some weight she’ll never be thin. All because of a tumor on her thyroid.
Not that all fat people are fat because of things like tumors or polycystic ovary syndrome like I’ve got. But not all of us are massive lazy over eaters either.
What’s incredibly funny is the fact that all of these people are bitching about making fun of fat people… You’re looking at this website, too, which in theory means that you’re making fun of him if you took the time to look through these pictures and post a comment. Don’t lie to me!

An old friend of mine who i’ve known for about 15 years had found out she had a thyroid problem the second last year in high school, and you know what she did, she STOPPED exercising and got fat, almost as fat as this guy. she doesn’t take her medication for it and wont exercise. If we can make fun of crack heads, junkies and alcoholics, than the people who obviously eat way to much are fair game too. All the extra food they are eating should go to people who need it, like little kids in africa.

@michele, I used to be a very large girl, now I am 5*9 and weigh 134, I do not feel sorry for fat ppl who don’t really try, he shouldve known better to sit in such a small chair being such a big guy, sometimes you are just asking to be made fun of.
Actually, there are two diseases that I can think of apart from diabetes that could make someone this large. The first one is Prader-Willy syndrome and it causes people to not feel full…EVER and they will eat anything to satisfy their hunger. The second is pica in which people eat non food items because of urges to eat those things.
That being said, I do think it is funny that probably the two smallest women on the beach were tasked with helping him up.
My mom has a friend who was way over 400 pounds. She went to doctor after doctor. They all said she was just lazy and an over eater. Finally one checked her out fully and found out she had a TUMOR WRAPPED AROUND HER THYROID. Even if she had been stranded ala Tom Hanks in Castaway she STILL would’ve remained over 400 pounds.
The tumor couldn’t even be entirely removed. So while she’s lost some weight she’ll never be thin. All because of a tumor on her thyroid.
Not that all fat people are fat because of things like tumors or polycystic ovary syndrome like I’ve got. But not all of us are massive lazy over eaters either.

i dont care if they had a disease or not! fat is fat, how did they get that way? not exercizing and eating WAY too much, they did it to them selves, why should i have to feel sorry for them? i see it this way, a girl goes to a public place dressed in a mini skirt and itty bitty tank top, and then gets all kinds of pissed off when guys and girls stare at her, make comments about her. she dressed herself, just like fat people feed themselves. they dont want that attention they shouldnt have stuffed their faces.

LOL.. yeah, that is funny. I admit, I’m overweight, but i’m doing something about it. Even IF there is something wrong with him, there is no reason why he should be THAT fat. An old friend of mine who i’ve known for about 15 years had found out she had a thyroid problem the second last year in high school, and you know what she did, she STOPPED exercising and got fat, almost as fat as this guy. she doesn’t take her medication for it and wont exercise. I don’t feel sorry for someone who doesn’t at least try and take care of their weight problem.

What is all bullshit about being compassionate to morbidly obese people. I understand that there are alot of illnesses that cause obesity, but if you haven’t noticed, there are also alot of McDonald’s too. If it’s a disease, it’s curable,if it’s McDonald’s, it’s curable. Maybe if people would quit being so fucking compassionate to the people, the obesity levels in this country would go down. Acceptablility is only making things worse. Assholes!!! Now if you don’t wanna hear crude remarks about the obese, the bone skinny, the wardrobe challenged, or the nasty crack heads, go to a different site. There’s no other reason to be on here but to judge and laugh at those less fortunate people.

First, I thought these pics. were funny. And I came to this site just for laughs. Second, my g/f is overweight. But it isn’t her fault. She has a thyroid condition. She does not over eat. She is not lazy and does not just sit around all day. Plus, she takes her meds everyday as prescribed and goes to every doctor appt. She is just unable to lose the weight. But the meds keep her from getting the size of this fella. I do not laugh at fat people. But I laughed at these pics. because of the situation. As someone posted earlier, I too would have laughed if it was a “normal” sized person stuck in a kid sized chair. People have become too sensitive or just too P.C.!!!
